Following up on the previous post, which involved a certificate of death for a thirteen year old in 1854, including the phrase ‘Killed by being swung around by the heels by a circus clown’, my friends and I are trying to get the phrase ‘Doing a Snyder’ into the popular lexicon. It is named after the clown’s victim, one William Snyder, and generally consists of being killed/maimed while engaging in an inappropriate escapade of light popular entertainment.
